Here's my $0.02 for what it's worth: The Lone Eagle is a good single-shot and a lot of fun to play with, especially if you're a recoil junkie. For $200.00 it might even be worth it. You're right about it being useless as a self-defense weapon. For sale: Used Magnum Research Lone Eagle.223 Rem. This firearm is in great shape with a bright clean bore and the frame is in good condition. This pistol comes with a Burris 2X-7X handgun scope. This single shot pistol is perfect for target or bench shooting To buy call or click Used Magnum Research.
Magnum Research Lone Eagle .308 Win
I have the Magnum Research Lone Eagle .308 Win that i'm trying to sell to an FFL, but when I took it to the shop the action would move. It is a single shot .308, and to load it you rotate the action at the rear of the gun and slide the cartridge in. However, the action will only turn about a half inch and stops and the action wont fully close. This gun has never been shot. It almost feels as if the firing pin is sticking out and in the way. But you can still charge the pistol and dry fire it so i'm not thinking the firing pin is the problem. If anyone has any thoughts about how to fix this before I take it to a gun smith that would be great.
